The Last Card?
When the U.S. military began shooting down Chinese weather balloons and other UFOs over North America, I was reminded of a woman named Carol Rosin, who the average American almost certainly doesn’t know, regardless of her many accomplishments. She is the first woman to hold an executive position in the aerospace industry and was a close associate of the late Wernher von Braun, the father of modern rocketry. Rosin led an important political and public relations campaign to stop Ronald Reagan’s Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI), his “Star Wars” fantasy of laser weapons in space to defend the U.S. from Russians and, apparently, invading aliens. She was a world peace ambassador for the International Association of Educators for World Peace and was instrumental in creating satellite educational programs in the U.S. that offered the first two-way audio and visual training programs for more than 20 countries. She worked with John Podesta, former Clinton White House Chief of Staff, and counselor to President’s Biden and Obama, to create the Treaty on the Prevention of Placement of Weapons in Outer Space.
Von Braun, of course, was included in Operation Paperclip, the U.S. government program that brought 1600 top scientists to the states from Nazi Germany to facilitate Post War advancement of American technology and military programs. Von Braun was widely recognized as the leader in developing the Nazi’s V-2 rocket program and helped engineer the U.S.’ first intermediate range ballistic missiles.
Von Braun’s complete resume’ requires a book, but knowing the scope of his accomplishments and his great mind will lend credence to what he said to his associate Carol Rosin late in his life. The German scientist was the chief architect of the Saturn V rocket, a super heavy-lift launch vehicle that carried Apollo spacecraft to the moon. When America got serious about space, Von Braun was named the director of the Marshall Space Flight Center, and near the end of his career was presented with the National Medal of Science. He is almost universally recognized as the “father of the American lunar program,” “father of space travel,” and “father of rocket science.”
Which is why his words to Carol Rosin caught everyone’s attention when she went public.
Rosin became friends with Von Braun during the last four years of his life after he had been afflicted with his fatal cancer. When he was unable to make his public appearances, she often spoke in his stead, which was an indication of his confidence in his colleague and the nature of their professional relationship. Possibly feeling guilt at his role in arming the nations of the Earth for technological warfare, Von Braun began to share his vision for how things were going to go wrong in the future. In fact, he saw it as planned. Reagan’s SDI was probably the first hint the scientist’s nightmare was beginning to unfold.
Rosin went very public with information regarding Von Braun. She was interviewed by Dr. Steven Greer, the retired emergency room physician who has devoted his career instead to solving the question of UFOs and extra-terrestrial intelligences and their interactions with humanity, which he considers as fact. In 2001, he brought together a large group of accomplished scientists, airline pilots, military, and government experts for his “Disclosure Project” at the National Press Club in Washington. Their firsthand experiences led to increased credibility for the UFO discussion. Greer has since produced multiple high-profile documentaries on the topic and interviewed Rosin for his Disclosure Project. She is also included in his film entitled, “The Cosmic Hoax,” which was when Rosin mentioned what Von Braun called, “The Last Card.” (Her interview below).
“I met the late Dr Wernher Von Braun in early 74,” she told Greer. “At that time Von Braun was dying of cancer, but he assured me that he would live a few more years in order to tell me about the game that was being played, that game being the effort to weaponize space, to control Earth from space and space itself. He asked me to be his spokesperson, to appear on occasions when he was too ill to speak, and I did. And what he asked me to do was to educate decision makers and the public about why we shouldn’t be putting weapons into space and what the alternatives are, how we could be building a cooperative space system.
“What was most interesting to me was a repetitive sentence that he said to me over and over again. And that was the strategy that was being used to educate the public and decision makers, and the scare tactics, the spin that was being put on the weapons system. And that was how we identify an enemy. The enemy at first, he said, the enemy against whom we’re going to build a space-based weapons system. First, the Russians are going to be considered the enemy, then terrorists would be identified and that was soon to follow. Then we were going to identify third world crazies, we now call them nations of concern. The next enemy was asteroids [and] against asteroids we’re going to build space-based weapons.
“And the funniest one of all, was against what he called aliens, extraterrestrials – that would be the final card. And over, and over, and over during the four years that I knew him and was giving his speeches for him, he would bring up that last card. ‘And remember Carol, the last card is the alien card. We’re going to have to build space-based weapons against aliens’, and all of it, he said, is a lie.”
Greer is a prolific producer of films on the subject of extra-terrestrials and their technology and has focused his efforts on eyewitnesses, records, and documentation. While his approach has been largely scientific, he has not been without critics, and at least once, appeared to stumble in a manner that affected his wider credibility. Greer was convinced that a tiny, six-inch, mummified figure discovered in Chile’s Atacama Desert was an alien and he used x-rays and computed tomography (CT) scans to analyze the remains. He also submitted bone marrow samples to Stanford University where researchers sequenced the DNA and proved the skeleton was from a small, deformed human. Greer would not accept the findings.
“We don’t know what it is,” he said at the time, “but it most certainly is not a deformed human.”
But it was. How it came to be shaped in such a manner and have bone densities similar to a six-year-old child, were the only remaining mysteries.
I met Dr. Greer in 1992 in a shoreline park near Gulf Breeze, Florida, which was the site of a UFO flap that lasted for years. He had only recently begun his journey into the mysteries of UFOs and who might be their occupants, and he had come to Florida’s Panhandle to further consider the photography and interest generated by Ed Walters, a city alderman who had published a book filled with astonishing photographs of UFOs and entitled, “The Gulf Breeze Sightings.” No one was ever able to prove Walters’ pictures were fake, but a crude UFO made of paper plates and detailed with a dry marker was later discovered in his attic. He insisted it was planted and far too simplistic to be used for deceptive purposes.
My interview with Greer was too brief to get a sense of his determination to resolve the puzzle of UFOs and change the course of human history. He had been prompted to give up his very accomplished medical career because of an experience he had as a young man, which had never left his consciousness. His body of work is significant, and his research, taken as an aggregate, is compelling, though the matter is clearly not settled for mainstream science. Greer, however, is convinced a great cosmic hoax is underway, and in his film (below) of the same name, he outlines how UFOs and aliens are being used to deal Von Braun’s “Last Card.”
Greer, like Von Braun and Rosin, believes the clandestine powers that rule the planet are running out of enemies here and need to turn extra-terrestrials into the bad guys coming to our planet. By militarizing space, and developing weaponry against an advanced enemy, they can achieve their real goal of controlling global populations and personally continuing to enrich defense and military contractors. This approach, Greer insists, keeps this planet from relying on “zero-point energy,” and forces the continued use of fossil fuels, which is the source of great wealth for a small percentage of the globe’s population.
While the narrative of Von Braun’s “Last Card” theory unrolls like a terrific science fiction novel that might have been written by Isaac Asimov, the Internet and UFO groups are abuzz with either fantastical or prescient interpretations of the recent shoot downs of “objects” of North America, convinced the final card is about to be laid on the table. The White House has indicated the Chinese balloon was gathering information but that the targets taken down over Alaska and Lake Huron were likely simply commercial, research, or recreational devices, and were a threat only to aviation. Attempts at recovery in Alaska and off the coast of Michigan have been abandoned, according to the Biden administration because of weather conditions and the unlikelihood of finding valuable information in wreckage.
The White House used the term “objects” because it said there were no definitive descriptions of the Alaska and Michigan interlopers. The benign terminology belies what pilots experienced. Some of the F-22 pilots over Alaska said their target was interfering with their instrumentation and they could not exactly describe what they were seeing. (They also saw no means of propulsion or heat signature). This is often a narrative offered by UFO witnesses, who suggest there are no definitive shapes or outlines of craft and that they often appear almost as a protoplasm, pulsating and changing dimensions as they move quickly enough to defy the natural laws of physics. Whatever was shot down over Lake Huron also baffled the experienced aviators of supersonic fighter jets, men whose vision is extraordinary and are trained as observers. The Michigan object was described as “octagonal” and had strings or ropes hanging from beneath, as if it had been carrying a payload that had previously been released. By listening to the cockpit recordings below, it is easy to discern the confusion of the extremely professional and capable American aviators.
Two subsequent stories, which are said to have occurred a few days after the dual take downs of the “objects,” are a bit more startling and have received no mainstream journalistic coverage. They also have an increasing number of people wondering what the hell is going on. Residents of Billings, Montana photographed a plume of smoke and what several described as a triangular object falling toward the ground. On the Reddit website, people also described the iconic black SUVs racing north of town in the direction of where the object appeared to have fallen. There have been no media or government reports about whatever it was that fell from the sky near Billings as this is being written.
In Kings County, New York, residents along a waterfront claim a UFO hovered over their house and shook it with great vibration and noise. Around 1 a.m., they describe the craft stationary about 30 feet above their home.
“It was a double disk sandwiched object and the entire bottom of it was emitting light, it was still making the noise while it was hovering in our backyard next to the end of the pole where we park our Jet-skis on the water. Then the UFO shot a couple miles southeast within a second but after that it shot up high and disappeared.”
The double-sided object was detailed as a disc with a characteristic conical shape. According to the person who posted the incident on Reddit, the very same object was video recorded on a flatbed trailer the next night on California Interstate Highway 5 near Bakersfield. The individual who made that video claimed the disc was being escorted by trucks with federal plates that were blocking both lanes of traffic, but he was eventually able to pass and get a sweeping video with his phone.
“Once I passed it, I kept questioning myself wtf did I just see lmfao. But I decided to brush it off thinking it might be replica for some UFO carnival or alien event. After passing the UFO, about 5 miles out I decided to take an exit and use the bathroom. After the restroom break, I got back onto the freeway the exact same time as the convoy with UFO was passing me while I was entering the freeway. I was not able to make a video of that specific moment. Once I was on the freeway, I saw two vehicles blocking each lane going on CA 5 NORTH, both cars seemed to have Federal License Plates. As well ahead of them was a convoy of two CHP trucks with their lights on and blocking both lanes. Ahead of the two CHP trucks was the big rig hauling the ALLEGED UFO and in front of it were two more CHP officers.”
The video from Twitter of the California object offers the best view but resolves nothing. There is much preposterous about the notion the federal government would haul captured UFO down an Interstate, even at night. In the sci-fi movie of the past week, the scriptwriters could consider this a bit too on-the-nose. But what in the hell is it? A two-sided satellite dish, and, if so, why does it need police escorts? That’s a lot of attention for just a wide load. Any prop of this nature for a movie would likely be built on-site, and not hauled through the California desert to a shooting location, and it’s hard as hell to reconcile government secrecy in alleged UFO recovery with this unabashed movement of a craft on a major thoroughfare. Do they want us to know or are they determined to keep us guessing? Make up your minds.
The Last Card theory of Von Braun comports with the thinking of Dr. Greer, though. He is convinced alien intelligences want to interact with humans and offer us positive advancements but it is getting increasingly difficult for that to eventuate because world governments and militaries are demonizing the visitors. If they show up and offer zero-point energy, his thinking suggests, the energy industry collapses and chaos ensues. Maybe they help cure our major diseases. What happens to the cancer treatment industry? Their presence as a technologically advanced entity might also mean the billions spent on military hardware were wasted because they are not effective enough to stop a culture more highly evolved.
Best not to expect any facts from the federal government, regardless of what happened over Alaska, Canada, and Michigan. Recovery efforts may have been fruitful and the government has knowledge it does not want to share. Or maybe it was all just research and recreational balloons off-course and out of control. Not many people in this country believe their government anymore after the big lies over the War in Iraq, Iran Contra, Watergate, Vietnam, and an endless list of international and domestic intrigues that violate our sense of democracy. There might be a chance that these UFO shootdowns are a false flag to create a new enemy and weaponize space, but if it is, it won’t matter by the time it is proved.
The truth might be just too weird to believe.
